Who donors contract with
Donors give to the fundraising organization operating the campaign, subject to that organization’s solicitation disclosures. Fundolar provides software and payment orchestration through Fundolar Central. Fundolar is not the charitable recipient of donations unless a separate written agreement explicitly states otherwise.
Money movement
Donations are processed through Fundolar Central using payment partners such as Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, Flutterwave, and Pesapal. Settled funds are routed to the bank account the organization registers in Fundolar Central, subject to processor settlement timing, holds, and chargeback rules. Fundolar maintains transaction records in Central and the WordPress plugin so organizations can reconcile payouts against campaign activity.
Data stewardship
Fundolar collects and processes personal information needed to operate donations, prevent fraud, and provide receipts as described in our Privacy policy and Cookie policy. Fundraising organizations remain controllers for donor relationships on their sites; Fundolar acts as a processor for transaction data handled on their behalf.
Integrity of reporting
Campaign totals displayed in WordPress reconcile against Fundolar Central exports. Fundolar records gross donation amounts, platform fees, and net amounts attributed to each organization. We design reporting to reduce manual reconciliation errors; organizations remain responsible for their published financial statements and regulatory filings.
Security posture
Fundolar applies administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including TLS for data in transit, access controls, credential protection, and regular security updates to the WordPress plugin distributed from fundolar.com. Fundolar is independent software — not endorsed by, affiliated with, or a project of the WordPress Foundation. Compatibility statements on our site refer to technical interoperability with WordPress, not organizational affiliation.
